Who it is for

Built for the way you actually date

Different reasons, one thing in common: you would rather meet a few people who are genuine than scroll past a thousand who are not.

You are ready for something serious

Say what you are looking for up front, filter by it, and skip the people who are only here to pass the time.

You have been catfished before

See which checks someone passed, from a confirmed email to a live photo check or a government ID, before you reply.

Your privacy matters to you

No public albums. Share photos, video and voice notes with one person at a time, for as long as you choose, and take them back.

You are dating across borders

Open in 248 countries with no region lock. Search by city, distance or the languages you speak, at no extra cost.

How it works

From sign-up to first date in three steps

  1. 1

    Make your profile

Two minutes. A photo, where you are, and what you are looking for. Add more whenever you like - fuller profiles get more replies.

  2. 2

    Look at people properly

One person at a time, with their whole profile rather than a thumbnail. Like the ones you would talk to. No daily limit, ever.

  3. 3

    Talk, then meet

A like back opens a conversation. When you are ready, share up to 5 photos, 5 videos and 5 voice clips - you set who, for how long and how many opens.

Know who you are talking to

The person in the photos is the person you meet

Every safety control is on every account, including the free one. Nobody can buy a badge.

Live photo checks

A live selfie is compared with the profile photos by a person, so you know the pictures are current and they are really them.

5 trust levels, on every card

From a confirmed email up to ID, address and employment. Every profile shows how far that person went, so you decide with your eyes open.

Private by default

Photos, video, voice notes and reviews move only inside a packet you approve, with a time limit, an open count and a log of every view.

Reviews from real dates

People who actually met can say how it went - honesty, safety, whether they turned up. Sealed, and shared only with consent.

Messaging with guardrails

Brand new accounts cannot send links or phone numbers, and messages are scanned for known scam patterns.

One tap ends it

Blocking stops the chat, hides you from each other and cancels everything shared between you. Reports are read by a person.

What each check confirms, and what it does not, is spelled out on the safety page.

Built differently

The tools you wished your last app had

Every one of these is free, on every account, from the day you join.

A hide list that actually hides

List an ex, a colleague or your boss by email, phone, or a name plus city, birth year or employer. You become invisible to each other - silently, and even if they join later.

Date check-ins a friend can follow

Write down who, where and when, pick a check-in time, and send a private link. If you have not checked in, their page says so and tells them what to do.

Compatibility that shows its working

A score built only from what you have both shared, always with the reasons beside it - and openers drawn from what you actually have in common.

Like with a note

Send a line with your like so it lands with context. The person you like sees it on your card, before they decide.

A free scam checker for any app

Paste a message from anywhere and see the romance-scam red flags it shows, each explained. Nothing you paste is stored.

Photos that are yours to give

Share photos, video and voice one person at a time, for as long as you choose, with a count of opens - and take them back.

Pricing

Free to date. Pay for a wider, cleaner pool - if you want one.

Everyone starts on Open, and most people stay there. Each paid rung adds one more pool of people to the ones you already see, and filters your feed harder. Likes reach you from every tier.

Our promise

Six things we will not do

This is not a feature list. It is the list of things we have deliberately built the product without, and every line is something you can check for yourself.

  1. 1

We will not put a number on how many people are here

You will not find a member count on this site. When we do publish one, it will count only people whose details have actually been confirmed, and we will say exactly how it was counted so you can check the working.

  2. 2

No limit on how many people you can like

There is no daily meter, no swipe cap, and nothing to buy when you run out, because you cannot run out. Looking at people is the thing you came here to do, so we do not put a price on it.

  3. 3

Nothing for sale that you need to date

No boosts, no roses, no super like packs, no coins, no gems. Likes, messages, who liked you and every safety feature are free. What you can pay for is a wider, better-filtered pool and a few conveniences - undoing a pass, more daily picks, seeing who viewed you, browsing incognito. Nothing that decides whether you get a date.

  4. 4

    One price, for everybody

The price you see is the price you pay. It does not change by your age, your country, your phone, or how many times you have visited this page.

  5. 5

    Cancelling takes two clicks

No phone call, no retention maze, no chat with somebody trained to talk you out of it. Cancel from your billing page and it is done. You keep your account, your connections and your messages.

  6. 6

    A like always arrives

Whatever tier you are on, and whatever tier they are on, a like sent to you reaches you and you can see who sent it. Nobody pays to hide a like from you, and nobody pays to see one.

If you ever find this page has become untrue, the advice section explains the same reasoning in plain terms so you can hold us to it.

Straight answers

The questions a swipe app user asks first. Every answer below is a product fact, not a reassurance, and the how it works page walks through all of it in order.

Does it work in my country?
Almost certainly. 6on7 works in every ISO country, open from day one - there is no rolling launch, no regional waitlist and no invite queue. Because it runs in a browser rather than as an app, there is nothing to download and nothing waiting on an app-store approval for your region. Filter by country, city or distance, and by the languages someone speaks, wherever you are.
What makes this different from other dating apps?
Three structural differences. First, confirmation here is graded and visible: every profile lists exactly which checks that person passed, from a confirmed email up to a checked government ID, employment and income. Second, your photos, videos and reviews are never public - they move only inside a packet somebody has to ask for and you have to open. Third, there is no like cap, no boost to buy and no see-who-liked-you paywall. Everything that gets you to a date is free; the paid tiers widen who you can see and filter harder, and they never unlock a safety feature. If you want the detail on a specific app, the comparison pages cover each one, including where they are the better choice.
Is it actually free, or is free a trial?
Free, permanently, with no card and no trial clock. Open is the tier every member starts on, and it is where most stay. Blocking, reporting, verification, private packets and reviews are on it. The three paid tiers exist to filter your feed harder, widen who you can see, and add a few conveniences (undo a pass, more daily picks, who viewed you, incognito). They are reach and comfort, not access.
Do I have to pay to send a message or see who liked me?
No. There is no like limit and no meter on how many people you can look at, and the people who liked you are visible to you because seeing them is the point of a dating site. We do not have that screen to sell.
What happens to my photos?
They are not on a public grid. They sit in a packet. To see them, somebody sends a request, you accept it, and you choose how long the access lasts and how many times it can be opened. You can revoke it at any moment, and every open is recorded with a time and an identity. Anything shared carries the viewer's name across it, so passing it on leaves a trail that names the account.
Can you stop screenshots?
No site can stop a second phone pointed at a screen, and any dating site that says otherwise is not being straight with you. What we do is make a leak traceable: no public link, right-click and drag disabled, copy and print blocked, the page blurs when it loses focus, and your viewer's name watermarked across every image. A screenshot of your packet can be traced to one account, and that account loses access.
What does verification actually prove?
Eleven checks across five trust levels: email, phone, a liveness selfie compared to your photos by a person, a government photo ID, proof of address, employment, income, net worth, social profiles, a video intro and a reference from somebody you met. They are all optional and there is no timer on them. Documents are encrypted and read only by the verification team. Verification is the one thing on the site nobody can buy.
Do the paid tiers mean richer people or better people?
Neither, and the naming is deliberate about that. A tier changes how much filtering is applied to the pool you see and how many pools you can see. It never changes the quality of the people in it, and it never buys verification. The tiers are named for the checking done on the pool - Open, Screened, Curated, Select - not for the worth of anyone standing in it.
Is there an app?
6on7 runs in the browser, and it is built for the phone first: a bottom tab bar, thumb-sized controls, and nothing that needs a mouse. There is no app store download and therefore no in-app purchase to be sold to you, which is a large part of why there is no boost meter. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app.
What if someone behaves badly?
Reports go to a person, not a filter, and anything involving safety goes to the front of the queue. Blocking is one tap and it is mutual and immediate - it stops the chat, removes you from each other's search and cancels every piece of access between you. You can see everyone who has opened your packets, and unblocking is always your choice.
Can I delete everything?
Yes, and deletion means deletion. You can ask for a copy of everything we hold, or ask us to remove it, and you keep access to the record of what you consented to. There is no retention maze and no "are you sure" loop designed to wear you down.
